We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us this year and for all the precious memories we created together during the 196+ forum Milan from 16 – 17 April 2023.
And there were so many moments that have stayed with us! The Walk & Talk Tour on the day before the event and the Reception at the rooftop of the Radisson Collection Santa Sofia. The spectacular view, the great atmosphere and the amazing drinks were the best start to the event.
And what an event it was! This year’s conference was held at our new home, the nhow hotel Milan, in beautiful Tortona, the beating heart of Salone del Mobile. The nhow hotel Milan proved to be the perfect new home for the 196+ forum Milan, as the event continues to be the benchmark as the leading annual conference for hospitality investment & design! As the 196+ forum Milan is organized in conjunction with Salone del Mobile, the leading global design and furniture fair, the events focus remained on hospitality investment and design. Therefore, we are excited to share that the movers and shakers, the technology players and game-changers were with us at the 196+ forum Milan.
We welcomed more than 150 guests and 30 speakers who gave us valuable insights into the latest trends and the key challenges facing our industry! We heard about the future of design in resort, greenfield and new construction, hospitality beyond hotels, the impact of ESG on design and much more.
During the Aperitivo on the newly opened Vertigo Pool and the Festive Dinner our guests were able to network with our speakers, moderators and likeminded souls. And, as every year, we celebrated the winner of this year’s Hotel Design Award – the cōmodo!

Hotel Design Award:
Once again, the Hotel Design Award was one of this year’s many highlights. During the festive dinner after the conference, we had the opportunity to celebrate a worthy winner! A total of 21 hotel from nine different European countries applied for the award. Thanks to our twelve-member jury, who had to face a tough selection, we were able to find this years Hotel Design Award winner. We are excited to announce that the cōmodo was able to convince the jury and has been selected as this years winner!
