Since 2002 forum has been held in Munich in conjunction with the international real estate fair EXPO REAL. It has been renamed to 196+ forum Munich in 2021.
196+ forum Munich focuses on hospitality investment & real estate and offers a communication platform for investors, developers, operators, owners, architects, designers, advisers and suppliers for the hospitality sector. A diverse conference programme provides the perfect background for networking opportunities on a European level.
On Friday, 6 October 2023, the 196+ forum Munich will be back at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof with an adjacent workshop programme on Saturday, 7 October 2023 at KaSpaces.

Highlight: The Hotel Property Award
Established in 2002, the Hotel Property Award is considered one of the most prestigious annual European hospitality award. An independent jury nominates up to ten hotels and shortlists three finalists, which are presented at the 196+ forum Munich.
2022 the highlight was the presentation of the Hotel Property Award to Wilmina in Berlin.
Hospitality UPGRADE Award
196+ forum Munich and Hospitality Pioneers are supporting young innovative start-ups from all over Europe, once more in cooperation with GNERATOR powered by GIRA.
The prize will be presented to the winner of the pitch on 6 October at the 196+ forum Munich conference. The Award appeals to start-ups making a relevant contribution as a solution provider to current and future challenges of the hospitality industry particularly in the areas hotel development, hotel operation and guest journey.
Up to five finalists will be selected by an advisory board from among all start-ups participating in the hospitality start-up speed dating “Design the Future” on 4 July 2023.
